Having a great lazy Sunday wandering back from San Antonio, stopping in Austin to take in the view. Ahhhhhhh...
The lake is shockingly low, though. Sometimes Island that's only visible every now and then for brief periods is huge and green. Not good! The low levels did make us feel like we were sitting higher up, though, so that was kind of cool.
The Oasis is now a full blown commercial center with several restaurants. We opted for the Soleil. And I have to say, we chose well. Nice staff. And lunch had a touch of awesome: strawberries, blueberries, goat cheese, candied pecans, avocado on a bed of lettuce with white wine vinaigrette.
