Our new
arepera
has tuned our kitchen into a playground. It's intended to make
arepas (corn cakes popular all over central and south America), but today it's popping out little pasta flowers -- or at least that's what they look like to me. Our pasta art kind of reminds me of daisies.
They turned out OK, but pasta dough comes out a bit crunchier than I would like in the
arepera. Of course the salsa went a long way toward softening our little pockets of yum. And any time cheese is involved, the results are entirely worth it.
I love our new toy!
