Life is a Highway

Our return home meant our return to the land of daily highway driving, laced overpasses, and toll booths. At first it was exhausting. I felt like I needed to pack my passport just to go to coffee with friends. Truthfully, it still feels a bit that way because of where we're staying, but now I just pretend we live in the country side and "go into the city" every other day. All the driving is more fun that way.

The NONEXISTENT Rockway Press Short Story Contest

Rockway Press never actually posted the winners of the 2007 contest. Their site has entirely disappeared, and they're on the Preditors and Editors list.
